Other news at Trestle on Tenth
Breakfast: On Wednesday 10/22 we will begin serving breakfast from 8:30 until 11:30 a.m., seven mornings a week. The menu will be tailored for the quick croissant-eater as well as the Vogue front-to-back reader, from duck confit hash with poached eggs and sauce béarnaise and buttermilk waffle with bourbon braised apples and maple syrup - whipped cream to baked goods and bowls of hot steamy café au lait --- or as we in Switzerland call it, "es Chacheli." Around the same date, Trestle will begin opening on Mondays for lunch. So shortly we will be open 7 days a week, 8:30 a.m. until closing time, serving breakfast, lunch, brunch and dinner. The only thing we cannot provide is the cat for your lap or the pooch softly snoring on your toes.
Later in the fall, going into winter, we have a couple of exciting food and wine tastings planned: stay tuned for these. And to round off the year and leave it all behind---good and bad---Trestle on Tenth will hold a New Year’s Eve celebration. More on that in due time, but it will be quite extraordinary. In January, which once seemed a million months away, we will host the second annual Metzgete---the pork platter extravaganza of your dreams.
So without further ado, let the fall and holiday season begin!
